Due to a nationwide strike by the Truckdrivers Union, the airport in the capital, Brasília, has run out of jet fuel. Thirty flights have been cancelled today.
At Congonhas, one of the main airports in São Paulo, two Latam Airlines flights were cancelled due to lack of fuel.
More than 70 flights have been cancelled throughout Brazil and thousands of passengers are complaining since it is uncertain if they will be able to travel.
