May 24, 2018:
Both pilots of a Brazilian Airforce (FAB) F-5F jet ejected shortly after take off this Thursday morning.
The accident occurred near the Santa Cruz airforce base in the western suburbs of Rio de Janeiro.The pilots survived but are still in hospital, where they will undergo surgery on Friday.
Segundo a FAB, a aeronave F-5F sofreu uma pane após a decolagem da Ala 12 (Base Aérea de Santa Cruz), na Zona Oeste do Rio. Os pilotos conseguiram se ejetar antes da colisão.
