Globalsecurity.org reports that the Turkish Air Force will purchase a fleet of Sukhoi SU-35 from Russia. This happens after the U.S announced in July 2019 that it will cancel Turkey from the F-35 fighter program and Turkish pilots will not be trained by the USAF.
This conflict began after the U.S removed its Patriot missile system from the Turkish territory in 2015, and so Turkey bought the S-400 missile system from Russia.
