Globalsecurity.org reports that after a meeting at the MAKS-2019 Airshow with Vladimir Putin, the Turkish leader Recep Erdogan said he may opt to buy the Sukhoi 57 5th generation jet fighter airplane.
The Russians are keen to snap up the opportunity and do business with Turkey since this country has been cancelled out of the Lockheed F-35 acquisition programme. Sukhoi could supply Turkey with it's SU-35 and SU-57 fighter jets.
