Chilean Air Force Acrobatic plane crashes in Santiago.

Yesterday, Saturday 7, a single engine plane that belongs to the Halcones (Hawks or Falcons) Acrobatic team of the Chilean Airforce (FACH) crashed in the El Bosque district in southwest Santiago. There have been conflicting reports since local TV stations began reporting at approx 1700 hours that " a small airplane that was on a training flight out of the El Bosque airfield had crashed onto nearby apartment blocks and 6 people had suffered from smoke intoxication ". This is an unclear situation since the FACH issued a statement in its webpage that stated " at 1325 hours an airplane from the Halcones Acrobatic Squadron had crashed onto the neighborhood ", while the pilot had managed to eject in a parachute. Press reports say that the pilot suffered a nasal fracture and muscle Injuries and is now in the FACH hospital. Why did the TV stations not mention that the plane belonged to the Halcones Squadron ? Another query hás arisen as to what model of plane was involved in the crash : until now it was believed that Halcones was using the German made Extra EA-300 L. In March 2019, the FACH announced that it would begin to use the British made Gamebird GB1 model during 2019. So, what model of airplane was involved in the crash ?
